Taberna der Guerrita
The Taberna der Guerrita is a tavern, wine shop and tasting room in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. In 2008, the third generation of the Guerrita family added a dynamic, modern area to the old tavern with wine as its protagonist. Visitors can explore the essence of wines from the Jerez Area in the traditional way, in the pure way, and get to understand and enjoy wine from the Jerez Area and its people.
Within the tavern, more than forty years of history seem to be endorsed by uneven walls, old bullfight posters, the aroma of old wine and flamenco by the great masters. The back room is a tasting room, set out in schoolroom style for up to 17 people.
In the Taberna der Guerrita there is also a dining room, a wine cellar area and a wine shop, with a selection of 200 wines from the Area and the rest of Andalusia, and a room in the middle for painting and photography exhibitions where, from time to time, someone with good taste and "duende" (flamenco spirit) breaks into song or guitar playing.
