Bodegas Barbadillo
Bodegas Barbadillo is the south and the sea, it is Cádiz and the "Poniente" westerly wind, it is Sanlúcar and it is tradition. Bodegas Barbadilo is a winery over one hundred years old and it is the future. After almost two centuries, this winery is a 100% Spanish company with over 500 hectares of vineyards divided over two estates in the "Jerez Superior" area. Its wineries are all over Sanlúcar de Barrameda, opposite the Doñana reserve.
Its wines are unique, born from the perfect combination of the soul of an incredible land, the "albariza" soil, and the heart of its oenologists, professional experts who put the knowledge of a lifetime at the service of creation and innovation.
Currently, Barbadillo is the largest manufacturer of manzanillas in the entire Jerez area, with the Solear and Muy Fina brands being worthy of note, and it was a pioneer when it made its Castillo de San Diego, the first white wine of Andalusia.
Its offices, located in the La Cilla palace-house (1773), are the gateway to an excellent tour of the wineries: visitors can explore the exciting history that turns the fruit of the Andalusian vineyards into one of the most famous wines in the world: Manzanilla.
