Cooperativa del Campo Virgen de la Caridad

Cooperativa del Campo Virgen de la Caridad is located in the town of Sanlúcar de Barramedain Cadiz, where it was founded (in 1959) by a small group of winemakers who devised a way to sell their harvest, free of the difficulties involved in going from one winery to another.

Today, the Cooperativa del Campo Virgen de la Caridad includes 700 members who together possess a total area of 800 hectares of vineyards. The year 2013 saw 7.5 million kilograms of grapes collected.

Its modern facilities, which cover more than 12,000 square metres, are equipped with sophisticated, state-of-the-art grape-juice processing systems that are designed to achieve temperature stability.

In 1980, members of the Cooperativa del Campo Virgen de la Caridad decided to buy the prestigious firm, Bodegas Caydsa.
