Bodegas Carbajo Ruíz

Bodegas Carbajo Ruiz is located in the province of Cadiz in the town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its wines are the result of the extraordinary climate conditions to which the vines are subjected, but they are also the result of the footprints left by the different civilisations that have settled in our region over the last 3,000 or so years.

The first evidence of wines produced in this area was provided by Strabo, a 1st century B.C. Greek geographer whose book "Geography" (Book III) explained that the Jerez vines were introduced into the region by the Phoenicians around 1100 B.C.
