Happy Kayak

Happy Kayak is a pioneering company that will provide the experience of discovering the coastline of the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Nature Reserve from a kayak. Since 2003, a great number of canoeists have participated in the different tours we organise. 

Our centre is open all year round and located in San José, in the heart of the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Nature Reserve and has been the seal of approval for Quality by the Andalusian Nature Reserve and Commitment to High-Quality Tourism (SICTED in Spanish).

All the excursions organised by Happy Kayak offer the highest value in landscapes, geology and marine natural resources.

Happy Kayak has all the required licences and permits to undertake activities in the Nature Reserve from the Ministry of the Environment, the Provincial Coastal Authority and the Marine Authorities. The instructors are certified by the Spanish Canoeing Federation, speak three languages and regularly receive training in tourism and sports.
