The beach of Punta del Boquerón is part of the sandy arrow of the Punta del Boquerón. It has both river and sea origins, and is at its largest at the mouth of the Sancti Petri channel, where the current flowing out of the channel prevents the beach from spreading towards the southeast.
This beach is located to the south of the municipal district, between the Atlantic and the Sancti Petri channel and occupies 38.92 Ha. It is part of the Punta del Boquerón Natural Monument that was approved by the Ministry of the Environment because of its natural geological and biological values and the landscape.
