San Bartolomé de la Torre
Village belonging to the Andevalo and situated in Tierra Llana near the capital. It is on pasture land which is used for the growing of cereals, olive trees and is surrounded by eucalyptus trees. In its municipal AREA there is a Dolmen and monoliths from the IV or III century BC.
History
From the remains found, it seems that the first human settlements date from prehistoric times. In Cabezo de Las Palmas there is a megalithic monument with a corridor and funerary objects.It is historically linked to the Marquisate of Gibraleon.
Its economy has undergone a marked change since the modernization of the agriculture which was started in the 80s.
