IE-025 Costa de Trafalgar: Llano de las Maravillas - Conil
El IE-025 Costa de Trafalgar: Llano de las Maravillas - Conil runs, amongst other places of interest, along Pinar de Roche and the historic site of Conil de la Frontera. Its location, landscape and natural diversity make Costa de Trafalgar a singular territory that extends from Cabo de Roche to the coasts of Tarifa.
Route
The itinerary starts at Llano de las Maravillas, at the junction of the road of La Laguna with the track of la Fuente Amarga, in the town of Chiclana de la Frontera. Its initial kilometres, an old road used for livestock crossings, leads us along country houses and farmland, until we reach the residential area of Novo Sancti-Petri. Southwards, we continue through Vereda de Cádiz. Here, you can access the municipality of Conil de la Frontera, and in a few metres, arrive to the town of Roche.
The route follows the course of the Roche River and enters Pinar de Roche: a beautiful space characterised by sand dunes, pine and shrubs. Crossing the stream at Campamento, we access Ensenada del Cabo Roche, offering magnificent, panoramic views of the Atlantic, Roche lighthouse and Almadrava Port. We continue heading east along the asphalt track to Conil de la Frontera.
