The Algaba de Ronda is a school of nature which aims to research, publish and preserve both historic and cultural natural heritage, following three lines of research: environmental education, agroecology and experimental archaeology.

It is located in the heart of the Serranía de Ronda and consists of an Andalusian country house.

It has been given several awards:

  • Award for Research and Defence of Organic Production in 2010.
  • Award for Excellence in Innovation in 2010.
  • The Europa Nostra Award in 2008.
  • Provincial Award for the Environment.
  • Rural Málaga Award.
  • Rainbow Award for the best “Innovative Tourism Project”.
