Bodegas F. Schatz is located in the heart of Andalusia, in the Serranía de Ronda, an area where the Iberians and, later, the Romans were already growing vines in the old city ofAcinipo.

Bodegas F. Schatz. The viticulturist Friedrich Schatz comes from a German originating in Wuerttemberg where there have been links to growing grapes since 1641.

In 1982 he made his first attempts to produce high-quality wine on his estate. The varieties he planted were Lemberger, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Muskattrollinger and these are the origin of his much sought-after wines.
