Biodynamic experience at Federico Schatz winery in Ronda
Federico Shatz is an organic and biodynamic winery, a pioneer in the revival of wine production in the Serranía de Ronda. It started in 1982, when its founder, Friedrich Shatz, embarked on a journey at the age of 18 with the goal of starting his own winery, becoming the first to produce wine in the Serranía de Ronda since the Phylloxera epidemic.
In this experience, you will learn the story of this entrepreneur and his work to recover the vineyard in the "Malagan Tuscany", walk through the gardens of Finca Sanguijuela, learn about the wine-making process and taste between 4 and 6 wines made using biodynamic techniques, sampled along with a selection of traditional tapas from the mountains.
