Bodegas F. Schatz
Bodegas F. Schatz is located in the heart of Andalusia, in the Serranía de Ronda — an area where the Iberians and, later, the Romans already grew vines in the old city of Acinipo.
The vineyard stretches over a slight slope towards the south with deep soil that is healthy due good aeration and permeability. The Bodegas F. Schatz crops are grown following biodynamic and organic practices, favouring a rich, diverse and balanced environment.
The produce is collected in small boxes that hold around 15 kg, which only take a few minutes to carry to the cellar, where they are cooled at a controlled temperature until the end of the day, when they are destemmed and crushed. Well-balanced wines are thus achieved, with mature tannins and a healthy, mild acidity. When decanted, they achieve better oxygenation and a greater display of lively, natural aromas.
La Bodega has Club Schatz, which allows members to take part in free workshop-tours of the winery or the possibility of getting priority access to the sale of limited edition products.
