The House of Volcanoes Eco-Museum and Geotourism Centre
The House of Volcanoes Eco-Museum and Geotourism Centre opened in October 2007 as a complementary facility for public use and since then it has been receiving more than 15,000 visitors a year.
The activity of the House of Volcanoes Eco-Museum and Geotourism Centre focusses on the interpretation of this protected natural area in the context of the region and the province of Almería. Its essential function is to provide a welcome for visitors, as well as promoting and informing with regard to the natural and cultural values of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Geopark.
