Bodegas Contreras Ruiz

Located right in the historic quarter of Rociana del Condado, Bodegas Contreras Ruiz stands out for its respect for traditional values and its firm commitment to developing production that opts for innovation and experimentation, using the most modern techniques but respecting the wine-making legacy of its ancestors and the natural environment.

The winery building dates back to 1868 and has five warehouses separated by arches that are over 30 metres high and wrought in iron, very much in the style of southern Andalusia.

The grapes are hand harvested and taken to the press in small trailers — all factors that influence the better quality of the wine.

Bodegas Contreras Ruiz wants to share its enthusiasm and passion: that is why it invites you to walk over the land, to breathe in the vineyards, to see the colour of the seasons in Doñana... to feel up close how wine is made.
