Rociana del Condado
Village belonging to the AREA of Condado and situated in the heart of the region on fertile land dedicated to the farming of cereals, olive trees and vines. The most interesting monuments in the village are the Chapel of the Santísima Virgen del Socorro and St Bartholomew"s Parish church.
History
During the Al-Andalus period it was a hamlet of the Kingdom of Niebla.It was conquered by the Christians in 1262.
In 1369 it came under the jurisdiction of the County of Niebla.
It obtained the title of "Villa" in the XVIII century.
It became very important as a result of the disentailment of the XIX century.
