Museo Cueva Inmaculada
Excavated in clay, Museo Cueva Inmaculada offers visitors the opportunity to see how it develops the daily lives of its inhabitants. In the museum, you can enjoy its temperature (18º), its antiquity (almost 600 years), tools and original furnishes.
The visit has 3 caves: the Current Cave, the Former Cave and the Ethnographic Museum.
Situated at 932 metres of altitude, the first thing to call the visitor's attention are the cave-dwellings and their white chimney tops scattered around the red clay hills. Purullena forms one of the most representative sites of such cave-dwellings, a must for the visitor whishing to see them and their beauty and local character, or even to buy some of the region's famous pottery in one of the many stalls alongside the main road through the village.
Adults: 2,5 €. Children (more than 6 years): 2 €.
