Casa Rural Molino del Machero
Located in La Puebla de Don Fadrique, the Molino del Machero country house occupies an old flour mill that dates back to the 18th century, as we are told by an inscription, although there are indications that it is even older.
Fully restored and decorated with exquisite simplicity, it has 5 bedrooms, which may be double, triple or family rooms, each with a bath. It also has two lounges with a fireplace, one of which holds the ethnographic museum for the flour mill, which has been fully refurbished and is a jewel of heritage. Lastly, it has a fully-equipped kitchen.
Within the building, but independent at the same time, there is an apartment made up of a living-cum-dining room with a sofa-bed, 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. The building has under-floor heating. It was all built using hardwoods and insulating material to achieve a sustainable building, where the energy always comes from renewable sources and is used in the most efficient way possible.
The Molino del Machero is located on an estate that grows organic crops, where you can find forests, almond trees and poplars — all in a landscape that it unique due to its vegetation and wealth of water: two irrigation channels and a stream flow through the estate, with the sound of water becoming the star of guests' visits.
It is equipped with a children's play area, free WiFi, parking, area for pets, place for bicycles, hiking routes... and a spectacular night sky. It has everything needed to make the traveller's stay an unforgettable experience, in a setting that is unique due to its beauty, philosophy and harmony.
