During the Middle Ages, the Jews were one of the most prosperous communities in Andalusia. Their rich legacy remains in a number cities in Andalusia as a heritage of their own history.
This brochure includes a comprehensive list of the main features of the Sephardic heritage in cities like Córdoba, Jaén, Seville and Lucena, which are all part of the Jewish Quarter Network in Spain, but also in other cities like Granada, Málaga, Almería, Cádiz and Huelva, where the indelible footprint of Sepharad still remains by way of monuments, urban layouts, place names, gastronomy, vocabulary, important characters, traditions and legends.
