Paseo de Colombia

The promenade borders one of end of the El Adarve walkway, and is laid out with two broad lateral corridors either side, which are ideal for enjoying views of the landscape while strolling.

The central area has a profusion of gardens with a succession of fountains in a variety of forms and dating from different periods. The promenade is the most intricate garden in Priego, and its boundaries are marked by enormous plane trees which offer shade and coolness. It is also home to numerous other stately trees, including chestnuts, limes, acacias, cedars and maples.
