Iglesia Nuestra Señora de las Angustias
In the Rococo style, it was founded in 1773 for the purpose of providing a temple to house the image of the Virgen de las Angustias. Construction was finished in 1775, and the interior decoration completed in 1778.
The church has a nave with a groin vault and small half-moon vaults, and a scalloped dome in the sanctuary which rests on a cornice. The church and altarpieces are attributed to Juan de Dios Santaella.
On the predella there are two magnificent figures of the Virgin and Saint Joseph holding the Baby Jesus, the work of José Risueño dating from the 18th century. The façade -also by Santaella- is in two sections and is worked in coloured marble.
