Kàran Bistro Restaurant

Kàran Bistró Restaurant is located in Pozo Blanco, in the Pedroches Valley.

It is the personal project of Carlos Fernández, which he runs with his partner Andrea, who met in La Rioja, working in the kitchen and serving at the tables of a restaurant. There, a romance blossomed, as did the dream of setting up their own wine bar and restaurant, two of their shared passions. In 2018 they decided to return to his homeland, in the Los Pedroches region of Cordoba, where the largest oak forest in the world is found.

Their cuisine is a fusion of this natural environment, which provides them with Iberian pork, Merino lamb and Sierra Morena mushrooms, not to mention countless other delicacies that never fail to charm their customers.

They offer a unique culinary experience, using only fresh, local ingredients from local farmers and producers, as well as from their own garden. From meat to vegetables, everything comes from nearby sources, supporting the local economy and reducing their carbon footprint. They also employ sustainable cooking practices to minimise waste and collaborate with the community in preserving the natural environment.
