The Juanito Orange Ecological Farm is a family-run farm located in Pizarra, Malaga, where Juanito, his wife, and some of their children have transformed their home into a tourist destination.
A visit to the farm lasts approximately 45 minutes. During this 45-minute tour, besides seeing, smelling, and touching citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits and more), visitors can also taste them. You might think it could be a dull excursion focused solely on learning, but Juanito and his family see to it that everyone has fun. It’s NOT just for adults – this is the perfect way to spend a day with the family while discovering fascinating facts about citrus fruits and those who grow them.
After the guided tour with Juanito and depending on timing, you can enjoy a traditional Andalusian breakfast, a famous Spanish paella for lunch, a snack of orange cake made on the farm, a delicious barbecue dinner, or, if you prefer, freshly squeezed orange juice paired with a tapa of Serrano ham or aged cheese.
If you haven’t yet heard of Buddha’s Hand, caviar lemon, kumquats, or limequats, don’t hesitate to make your reservation.
