Camping Balcón de Pitres

The Balcón de Pitres is a tourist complex with a camping area, wooden cabins and rural apartments. It is surrounded by nature, in the heart of the Alpujarra, 500 metres from Pitres, a village with 500 inhabitants with numerous services: health centre, chemist, banks, hotels, supermarket, church…

The complex is at an altitude of 1300 metres, on the sunny side of the Sierra Nevada Nature Reserve. There are several terraces resting upon different levels, facing south, which offers many hours of sunshine per year.

For nature lovers, Balcón de Pitres offers over 150 plots with electricity connection, all with plenty of shade, surrounded by fruit, walnut and chestnut trees, where you can enjoy outstanding views and beautiful sunsets. It has various health modules, all with showers with free hot water. In addition, we offer laundry service and access to caravans and all types of vehicles.

Balcón de Pitres also offers small and cosy apartments of the typical, regional architecture, for 3 people with 1 bedroom, lounge with kitchen, fireplace and bathroom with bathtub. The bedrooms have double bed or two singles, according to availability. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge for a third person (ideal for a child). Central heating. These apartments surround a garden for the guests' enjoyment.

Finally, the complex is complete with a bar-restaurant, swimming pool, reception, food shops, bathroom modules, organic vegetable garden, etc.
