Casa Rural Cortijo El Tejar

Cortijo "El Tejar" is a house that is over a hundred years old, built in 1830 on an old farm where there used to be eight Moorish ovens to make roof tiles, bricks, jars, floor tiles, wash basins, troughs and other utensils of the time; hence its name. It is located in the municipality of Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo de Córdoba.

Part of the farm is currently used for agriculture, olive groves and extensive Iberian pig breeding, as well as sheep, lambs, goats, calves, chickens, geese, pigeons, etc. where families can see and join in traditional agricultural and livestock tasks, as if they were real farmers; caring for animals, riding horses, milking goats, giving milk to calves, etc.

Cortijo "El Tejar" has two floors: the top floor, a converted barn, is now a Farming-Livestock Museum with farming tools and experiences from previous times featuring around 2,000 items.

The ground floor has 4 bedrooms: 2 double and 2 triple. Two of the rooms have full bathrooms, and there is another toilet for the house in general; as well as a games room, with a pool table, dartboard, etc.

Swimming pool with double child safety lock with a ramp and steps, and a shower room. Two terraces: one of them is ideal as a solarium next to the pool, the other has a viewpoint where you can enjoy the wonderful environment that surrounds the house.
