Pedro Sierra was born in Hospitalet de llobregat (Barcelona) in 1966 When he was eight, he started to learn to play the guitar with masters Remolino and Juan Manuel Estrada, and when he was only nine he started to work in Barcelona´s flamenco peñas with a great success among fllamenco fans Later on, he studied with Manolo Sanlúcar and Isidro Muñoz in Sevilla, where he progressed considerably in his way of playing
He began to be demanded by professional flamenco singers and dancers and worked in theatres in Spain and all over Europe Shortly after that, he took up residence in Madrid, where started to work with Carmen Linares, with whom he recorded two successful records He also worked with Javier Barón, José Mercé, La Chana, Tomatito, and Antonio Canales, among others
He was contracted by the 'Cumbre Flamenca´ show, with which he travelled around the world, performing in the most important theatres of cities such as New York, Jakarta, Bogotá, London, Paris, Mexico, Kuopio, Roma, Tokyo, etc
He took up residence in Seville and met singer "La Tobala" whom he married In Seville he worked with Farruco, Mario Maya, Manuela Carrasco, Farruquito, La Susi, El Potito, La Macanita, El Pele, Diego Clavel, Israel Galván, Manuel Soler, Inés Bacán, Manuel Mairena, etc
There are over 200 recordings collaborating with other artists as a guitarist The most important ones are Carmen Linares, El Yunque, Parrita, La Tobala, La Susi, Morenito De Illora, El Potito, Paco Taranto, Maria Vargas, El Polaco, José Parra, Juanito Maravillas, Perro de Paterna, El Loreño, Familia Montoya, El Barrio, Triana Pura, La Macanita, Enrique "El Extremeño", El Boquerón, Mª José Santiago, Isabel Pantoja, Diego Vargas, Lolita Valderrama, Luis de Lebrija, Paco Cepero, Mónica Naranjo, Camela, Los Activos, Chiquetete, Rafael Calderón, Romeros de La Puebla, Ecos Del Rocío, Albahaca, etc, etc
Nowadays, he has two solo records, "Al Sur de mi Guitarra" (1997) and "Decisión" (2001, awarded a prize by the critics as the revelation CD of soloist guitar)
