Pedro Ricardo Miño Bastos is the son of Pepa Montes and Ricardo Miño, and he grew up in the Triana neighbourhood He started to learn music theory at a very young age with the teacher Isabel León, and when he was just six years old he gave his first concert at the main building of El Corte Inglés in Seville Later on he joined the Triana Music Conservatory and finished his Music Theory studies there with Visitación Magarzo
Then he started at the Seville Higher Music Conservatory He gave a concert in the Manuel de Falla auditorium at the conservatory, playing ten original flamenco compositions including several styles His strict and rigorous music studies have boosted his innate aptitude for music He knows and masters the great classical music composers but never leaves his strong flamenco background aside
Some of his most important performances include playing at prestigious theatres such as the Manuel de Falla in Cadiz; the Gran Teatro in Cordoba; the Villa de Madrid Cultural Centre; Pedro de Ayala in Badajoz, where he presented his eight-composition concert for the first time in 1994; several theatres in Switzerland, Italy and Holland during 1994-1995; and the extraordinary performance "25 años caminando juntos", before HM Queen Sofía, with Pepa Montes and Ricardo Miño at the Seville Biennale in 1994 In the 1995-1996 season he was chosen by the Federation of Flamenco Clubs of Seville to perform a long series of concerts in several clubs in the province, which were a great success
He has played with great flamenco artists such as: Manuel Molina, El Pele, Pansequito, Pepe de Lucía In 2001 he gave 26 concerts in a tour round the United States That same year he put on a show, "Infinitud de Formas", together with Ricardo Miño and Pepa Montes in several European cities such as: Mont Marsan France (Francois Mitterand auditorium), Luxembourg and Grenoble He also took part in the International Flamenco Fair at the Seville Conference Centre
