Biovalle Organic Oranges and Citrus

At Biovalle, we specialise in cultivating organic oranges and other organic citrus fruits. Our crops are located in Palma del Río and Hornachuelos, in the Guadalquivir Valley of Cordoba, near the Guadalquivir and close to the Genil River.

Our grandfather began working these lands 70 years ago, and we decided to convert them to the production of certified organic oranges. Today, we offer various types of oranges, great for juice or eating, primarily of the Navelina, Salustiana and Cadenera varieties.

The latter is a variety of orange traditionally grown locally in the municipality, known for its unique and authentic flavour, which is at risk of disappearing. At Biovalle we are the first producers – and, at the moment, the only ones – who grow it organically and sell it directly to the consumer.

We also have other certified organic citrus fruits: organic grapefruits, lemons, limes and mandarin oranges. Some are still produced in small quantities.

We host tours through our fields, where you can taste and pick your own oranges. Experience agrotourism in traditional organic citrus orchards next to the Guadalquivir, surrounded by nature and life.
