Puente de Hierro sobre el Río Guadalquivir
Located in Palma del Río and designed by the Darget brothers, the Iron Bridge over the Guadalquivir River is an example of the strength and austerity of cast-iron architecture
It was built as a consequence of the creation of the railway line, which once linked Cordoba with Seville at the end of the 19th century, on the site of a primitive wooden bridge.
Due to the technical and historic importance of this monument, it was declared a Site of Cultural Interest.
