Biography
Francisco Franco Fernández was born in Dos Hermanas (Seville) in 1966 He developed his passion for the guitar thanks to his father, Luis Franco, and a guitarist who used to play in many of the flamenco opera troupes His father had been a guitarist, so Paco soon decided to be one, too
His father gave him his nickname after he was excluded from a contest during the Spanish transition because his name was Francisco Franco, so Luis decided to give him the name of the neighbourhood in which he had grown up - La Jarana He started to study in the Seville Higher Music Conservatory until he met Rafael Riqueni and Isidoro Carmona when he was thirteen
