Origin and Destination

One of the most extraordinary adventures in the history of humanity originated 500 years ago in Andalusia: the first circumnavigation of the globe. Our region was the point of departure and return for an expedition that changed humanity. 

To commemorate this important event, we have launched ‘Andalusia, Origin and Destination’, a project that will span the next few years and offer travellers sustainable and accessible tourist experiences that appeal to the senses. 

Built around three key themes - culture, heritage and hallmarks - the project aims to turn Andalusia into an international commercial hub and remind the world that it all began here.
