Cortijo El Cura Country House Lodge

Just a couple of minutes from the town of Órgiva and on the same road that leads to the River Guadalfeo, we can find Cortijo El Cura Country House Lodge. It is located in one of the most beautiful areas along the river and the surrounding area boasts lush vegetation with fruit trees and centuries-old olive trees. From the house you can see terraces with their orchards that stretch out in this charming basin, with Sierra de Lújar mountains as a dramatic backdrop to the south.

Inside, it has a new part and a restored part, maintaining traditional decorative elements such as wooden beams, terracotta floors, stone and exposed brick, and its rustic fireplace, which creates a very pleasant and cosy atmosphere. The walls of the farmhouse are 2 ft thick, the bedroom has been carved out of the rock, and the terrace is covered by a vine and its secluded location make this farmhouse feel special and private.

It has a swimming pool (4x7 m) and a children's play area, open from March to November and totally private.

The farmhouse sleeps 4 people (additional beds and cots upon request) and has a bedroom with a double bed (cave), a double bedroom with two beds, a living room, a kitchen-dining room, a bathroom and a large terrace with a porch and excellent views of Sierra de Lújar mountains.

The bedrooms lead to a terrace covered by an old wine vine that flanks the entire south side of the house.
