Located in the Palace of the Belmonte or Segura family, in the district of Orce, the Orce Tourist Office currently shares its facilities with the Palaeontological Museum.

It is in the Altiplano de Granada region and in Orce there are some of the most important palaeontological remains in Europe and Asia. Remains that testify human presence for 1,400,000 years have been found there. Much closer in time is the site of Cerro de la Virgen, a settlement dating back to 2,500 BC where three phases of Neolithic strata have been discovered.

Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, 11am to 2pm. Friday, 4pm to 7pm. Saturday, 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm.
