Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios

Sober 18th century building located between olive groves and cliffs. In it an image is venerated, a possible 15th century carving, representing the Virgin of Los Remedios, patron saint of Olvera, whose devotion extends throughout the region.The origin of the sanctuary dates back to the 16th century, with a small hermitage in the place "de los Pinos", to whose altar an image of the Virgen de los Remedios was moved, which was venerated in the Parish Church. A hermit took care of the place and collected the offerings. Since 1715, on the second Monday after Easter Sunday, the Quasiomodo Monday Pilgrimage has been celebrated in its surroundings.
