Aceites del Monte Horquera

Aceites del Monte Horquera is in the Córdoba town of Nueva Carteya, a family business that has produced olive oil since 1880. In 1990, it is incorporated into the Andalusian Workers' Union (S.A.T.) as Aceites del Monte Horquera in an olive-growing area where one of the best oils in Andalucía is produced.
The product achieved at the Aceites del Monte Horquera mill is lemon-green in colour, made from picuda, picual and hojiblanca olives, and — to a lesser degree — from jardúa and lechín, harvested directly from the olive trees. A fruity aroma of green olives, apples and other fruits, with a sweet, slightly tart, sharp flavour with a hint of almonds.
