Bodegas Cuatro Vientos

The Cuatro Vientos Wine Cellar is located in Murtas, in the province of Granada, in the heart of the Sierra de Contraviesa, 100 km from the city of Granada and from Almería.

It belongs to the Cuatro Vientos Estate which is well aware of the potential of the wine from the Contraviesa - Alpujarra region which is based on the deep-rooted wine culture in this agricultural region based on Vineyards, Figs and Almonds.

The climate in this region is that of a mid-altitude mountain range halfway between the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean Sea. The vineyards are dry farmed, at an average altitude of 1,100 metres and on south-facing slopes.

The Cuatro Vientos Wine Cellar has a wine theme centre which has been renovated and is now called the Enological Museum of La Contraviesa.
