Museo Enológico de La Contraviesa

Wine Museum of La Contraviesa located in Murtas, in the province of Granada, in the heart of the Sierra de Contraviesa 100 km from the city of Granada and from Almería. It is located in the oldest part of the Bodega Cuatro Vientos and houses the most complete collection of objects relating to the wine-making tradition of the region.

Here you'll find numerous tools and objects from different periods patiently collected and restored for their preservation to give you an idea of the peculiarities of this age-old tradition.

The Wine Museum of La Contraviesa offers visitors an audiovisual show entitled "The Soul of the Wine Cellar" where a virtual character, representing the characteristic wine producers of La Contraviesa, provides details of the age-old process of wine making, from the grape harvest to packaging and distribution, while displaying objects from the museum itself.
