Casa de los Bates
This 19th century palace house is located on a hill with wonderful views of the sea, the mountains, and Salobreña castle. It is surrounded by 20,000m2 of land, where the Romantic and Botanical gardens outstand, communicated by a travertine marble big stairs and coral fountains. There you can contemplate centenarian palm trees, tropical trees, kentia palms, magnolia trees, and cascades.
From the bedrooms, you can see leafy gardens, while the suite has views of the sea. All the rooms are decorated individually with colour clothes, pastel colour walls, and marble floors.
In the house living rooms you can breathe a certainly aristocratic air: Chinese holding screen with inlaid with mother-of-pearl, 16th century furniture, a large piano and familiar photos.
Outside there is a terrace-viewpoint which is idyllic when you taste a succulent breakfast with tropical fruit juices, as papaya, guava, mango, or custard apple.
