El Santo Fair

The El Santo Fair begins with an inaugural speech that marks the official start of the Fair in honour of San Francisco Solano (Patron saint of Montilla). Then parades go through the streets with the music of the Local "La Union” band of Montilla and the "giants and big-heads". Street entertainment covers the high streets of Montilla, until reaching the fairground where the inauguration takes place and the entrance is illuminated.

The format is similar to that of wine and tapas fair, with spacious communal areas with tables and chairs and a single stage for live music that will be the main protagonist with concerts starting in the early afternoon.

The open-air festival also features the Town Marquee at the facilities of the outdoor pools with an area of children's attractions in the usual site near the football pitch, as well as food and drink stalls and sale of jewellery and crafts.
