The San José Hermitage belonged to the guild of the carpenters' guild. Built during the first third of the 16th century, it was later enlarged in 1703.
The interior is organized in two different sized buildings, in the largest there is a decadent Baroque altarpiece with scenes of the Saint's death and lateral canvases with scenes of his life.
