The Chapel of the Sacred Descent is composed of a long corridor, with a roof and half-point vaults, as well as a small choir at the top. In the background, the Main Altar of the Chapel is made up of a large black velvet curtain with the same color canopy and golden chevrons. In the center, is the imposing image of the Lord of the Descent with the Virgin of the Incarnation at his feet made by Antonio Bernal in 1994. The Christ of the Descent leaves in penance season every Good Friday.
