This is a very cosy building, tastefully and well decorated to please visitors and to create a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying the dishes and good wines on offer.
There are two rooms. The smaller of the two is on the ground floor and the larger is on the first floor. This room is warm and cosy and is decorated with photos of local places and characters.
The restaurant serves traditional meals from the village and region and also exquisitely prepared fish and meat dishes. The food is prepared by Manuel and his wife Pilar and together, they offer a range of traditional dishes that have won different awards.
The spinach and chick-peas, boronía (Andalusian style ratatouille), vegetable and meat stews, fried garlic, gazpacho and other dishes are all regional specialities.
The desserts are also home-made.
Tuesday to Friday, 12.30pm to 5.30pm and 8.30pm to midnight. Saturday: 12.30pm to midnight. Sunday. 12.30pm to 5.30pm.
