Iglesia de San José

An 18th century building (1730) built by Diego Antonio Diaz, diocesan architect. The church was built using limestone and pink marble from the San Pablo mountains.
The Latin cross design has three naves that are separated by adjoining Tuscan style columns with black marble capitals and bases and 3 metre tall monolithic shafts in red veined marble from the San Pablo mountains.
