Zambombas al Fresquito (Traditional Andalusian carols)

The Amigos del Zambombeo have everything ready for the next ‘Zambombas al fresquito’ contest to be held on August 17th in the Los 7 Caños Square in Mijas Puebo. As they have announced in their poster, this event, which was held for the first time in 2019, will feature the participation of seven pastoral groups: Pastores del Puerto, Las Protegidas de Nerja, Belén Salvador Rueda de Benaque, Raíces de Colmenarejo, El camorro, Las Lagunas and the Los Santiago Choir. This summer pastoral competition in Mijas, which will begin at 21 hours, is unique in the province and has been generating great expectancy for some years now, at the same time it highlights the culture of Malaga. To make it possible, it also has the collaboration of the Mijas Town Hall, the Peña Santana, Nuevo Enfoque, La Bodega del Pintor and Mijas Comunicación.
