Mijas Cheese and Wine Festival

A new edition of the Mijas Cheese and Wine Festival is back,

The festival will begin this Friday from 11:00 hours and will run every day until 22:00 hours. In order to make it more attractive to the public, different concerts and dance performances have been programmed. 

Thus, on the first day at 18:00 there will be a performance by the Remedios Fernández dance group and at 19:30 a concert by the group Alejados; on Saturday at 12:00 there will be a show by the flamenco company of José Lucena and at 20:30 a performance by the group Callejón; and on Sunday 27 at 18:00 it will be the turn of the dance group of Víctor Rojas to give way to Maniacos at 19:30.

The initiative will involve 13 local businesses and seven cheese stands from different parts of the province; in addition, one of the stands will offer sweets and bread from a bakery in Mijas. To spice up this festival, there will be a ham slicer and the stalls dedicated to wine can also offer tapas.
