Day of the tourist in Mijas

Last August 26th, the official Tourist Day poster was presented at the Mijas Tourist Office 2024, an emblematic event that will take place on the 25th of September in the Plaza Virgen de la Peña. This day has been consolidated as one of the most important events of the year for the municipality, where tribute is paid to tourists who choose Mijas as their holiday destination.

The Tourist Day program promises a day full of activities that reflect the cultural identity of Mijas. At 12noon in the Plaza Virgen de la Peña, a flamenco show will be held. After that, at 1´30PM attendees will be invited to enjoy a free paella tasting, a gesture that symbolizes hospitality of the "Mijeños" towards their visitors. 

A shuttle bus service will also be offered to facilitate the arrival of attendees.
