Costa del Sol Racecourse

The Costa del Sol Racecourse is located in a quiet natural area, on El Chaparral estate in Mijas Costa, 30 km from Pablo Ruiz Picasso International Airport in Malaga and 25 km from Marbella, with a surface area of around 400,000 m2. There are two ways of getting there directly: one from La Cala de Mijas and the other from the N-340 road, in front of Fuengirola Castle, towards Cerrado del Águila.

The Costa del Sol Racecourse regularly hosts all kinds of equestrian shows and competitions. You can enjoy horse races, during the daytime in winter and in the evening in summer, conformation competitions, dressage competitions, jumping championships, cowboy dressage with pole, haute école dressage, long-reining, horse parade, etc. They are unique shows based on the dressage and elegance of purebred horses. These can be the perfect finishing touch for any type of event held at our site: corporate parties, promotions, weddings, incentives, product presentations, etc.

The Costa del Sol Racecourse is also seen as a leisure and entertainment venue for all audiences, where other complementary activities are held during the races, such as flamenco dance shows after each race, guided tours of the facilities, children's entertainment, art gallery, exhibitions, live music, etc.

Spectators coming to the races will find a large 15,000 m2 area with a direct view of the tracks, as well as stands for 2,500 seated spectators.

The racecourse also has the following facilities: stables, paddock, tracks, betting terminals, riding school, bars, cafes, restaurants, residence, horse riding club, padel, football school, Mijas go-karting, equine therapy centre and a large car park.
