Miguel Jimenez was born in Jerez de la Frontera, where he started to learn guitar with Rafael del Águila He accompanied singers such as Agujetas, El Borrico, Terremoto, El Sordera, etc and performed in different flamenco clubs and the Chair of Flamenco Studies
From 1979 onwards he continued to develop his professional career in Madrid, playing at the flamenco club "Los Canasteros" with artists such as the dancers Juan Ramirez, Dolores de Córdoba, Diego Carrasco, etc After this he toured Germany and Holland with Rafael Aguilar, Italy and Switzerland with Rafael de Córdoba, and the UK as a duo with Gerardo Nuñez
He also played in different countries such as Japan, Greece, Norway, US, Germany, etc He performed in the Mainz Theatre (Germany) in the homage to Federico García Lorca, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death He also performed in "Los Veranos de la Villa en Madrid" He recorded three solo albums and accompanied the singer Juan Moneo "El Torta" many times
