El Castillo
Located in Medina Sidonia and part of the Hotel of the same name, the Restaurante El Castillo has refurbished its facilities to offer guests better service as far as the venue is concerned, since quality and the personal, friendly service remain at the same high level as always.
This renovation has extended the lounge and terrace, creating a better atmosphere, warm in winter and cool in summer.
In El Castillo you can enjoy excellent meat, such as leg of lamb, T-bone steak (renowned for weighing over 1.5 kilos), local Iberian suckling pig, as well as boar, deer, rabbit, pheasant, duck, partridge and barbecued Iberian pork; fish, like the "pescaito de la bahía de Cai" (traditional fried fish dish), sole, sea bream, swordfish and a variety of other fish, together with diced vegetables from the gardens of Medina; and above all, the homemade desserts: courgette in syrup, pears with red wine, hot chocolate with ice cream and cream, orange in syrup and "tocinito de cielo" or traditional crème caramel.
