He was born in Cordoba in 1966 He was one of those young guitarists who started to feel a passion for flamenco guitar from a very early age His efforts were rewarded a few years later, when he started to play professionally, and as his career was launched he worked even harder
Despite his short career, he has a large curriculum: he has taken part in many festivals, playing with top artists, and has recorded several flamenco albums
In May 1989 his career was boosted when he won the "Manolo de Huelva" prize in the Cordoba National Contest (for accompanying singing and dancing) and that same year he was given a position as accompanying guitarist in the Higher School of Dramatic Arts and Dance in Cordoba
He is one of the most demanded guitarists by the great flamenco artists such as Fosforito, Luis de Córdoba, El Pele, Calixto Sánchez, Carmen Linares, Julián Estrada, etc
