Ingredientes

  • 250 g. flour
  • 150 g. sugar
  • 175 g. pork lard
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or sesame seeds

Preparation

Mix the butter and sugar well. Add the cinnamon and mix again.

Turn the oven on to 100ºC and spread the flour onto a tray covered with greaseproof paper. Let the flour dry, without allowing it to toast. Let it cool and add it to the lard mixture. Knead. Make a "volcano” and add the egg yolks one by one, combining until the dough is smooth.

Place the mass on the surface covered with flour and knead with a roller, until it has the thickness of a finger.

With a cup or similar device, cut the mass into round shapes, roll it over a dish of untoasted sesame seeds, and place these pieces onto the tray covered with greaseproof paper.

Preheat the oven to 180ºC and bake between 15-20 minutes until they are toasted. Allow to cool, and wrap in tissue paper or store in a sealed container.
